Spire Marketing
In this project, the team I led was tasked with developing a working business in Digital Media and costing out all the supplies, costs, materials, and other expenses associated with the business. We developed Spire Marketing Services. The brand image was designed by my friend and teammate Josue Diaz and the business structure and strategy were designed by my friend and teammate, Malcolm Sherrod. The brand image included the logo, typefaces, color palette, and content layout. Once we developed a brand image and business plan, I developed a short animated video, pitching our business plan to investors.
 Brand New
The following slides represent the work my team and I did to re-brand a student-made company called "Brand New". We decided we wanted to use the original colors the company used but completely rebuild their overall look for a professional and consistent looking brand image across multiple forms of media. I was responsible for the logo, colors, chosen typography, social media covers, and short animation. David Garcia was responsible for the social media and newsletter, and Danielle Parker designed the responsive website.
There was a lot that we liked about the original logo. We wanted to keep the new design simple as well as keep the shortening of the company’s name to “BN”. The bright colors communicate a friendly, and creative environment which is appropriate for a branding agency. The goal was to create a fresh look for the company inspired by what they already have.
This redesigned logo is inspired by the original company logo. By minimizing the colors and simplifying the design the logo better communicates their mission of being a branding agency that is innovative, competitive, and forward thinking. The logo is also better interpreted by viewers.
Using some of the colors from Brand New’s logo and company assets we decided on a color pallet. The blue and orange colors were chosen as the primary colors to be used for company media. The hexachrome Black was chosen to add a more professional feeling and to break up page layout for a more attractive design. We used these colors consistently throughout the company media to tie the various media together under the company image.
Brand New did not have a specific set of typefaces used in their brand image. In order to make a more consistent looking brand image across multiple forms of media we chose a set of typefaces to be used consistently throughout their media.
The website was designed to be a resource for the company’s current clients and prospective clients. The site includes information, previous work, pricing, and contact information. There is even a brief video that draws the viewer in and quickly communicates what Brand New is all about.
The animated commercial was designed to give a short, memorable, and informative video for Brand New's clients.
Brand Newsletter will enable Brand New to communicate better with their clients by offering weekly publications they can follow Online.
An aggressive social media strategy will allow Brand New to actively interact with their clients and address their needs quicker. By making daily posts, they will be able to build relationships with their clients and community, host live events, and share informative publications, videos, etc.
