In spring of 2014 as a student attending classes at the University’s Sugar Land location I was eligible to apply for scholarships at that school, therefore I did so. While hoping to receive awards greater than what I did and in reality expecting to receive nothing I was fortunate enough to be on of the students at UHSL selected for the Alumni and Friends Scholarship. The award included being invited to and honored at a scholarship banquet celebrating the occasion as well as receiving a certificate of scholarship noting my achievement.
