Selected to represent the University of Houston during its accreditation process, my UH DIGM binder design features graphic elements constructed entirely from semi-colons.
Inspired by my love of all things super hero, I illustrated myself as a graphic design super hero. Weapon of choice: pen tool daggers.
I created this photo-realistic illustration in Illustrator using gradient mesh. While it looks like a photo, the vector format allows it to be scaled up infinitely without quality loss.
I created this logo for a temporary video studio, Activenin, which was founded for a group video project.
I created this logo for a temporary video studio, Activenin, which was founded for a group video project.
This is a logo I generated for a fictitious LED company, Green Light.
This is a poster I created for a Two Tons of Steel concert at the Pigpen Bar in San Antonio.
I created this poster for the GCEA Graphic Communications Week..
This is a T-shirt design I created for a national fellowship conference for my campus ministry, Reformed University Fellowship.
This is a product list I created for a local candy maker, Chocolates By Jeanne.
I designed this postcard with variable data which changes the name, photo, and
discount depending on information from a database.
I created this low-poly football illustration poster to print out for a football game. I'm proud of not only the illustration quality, but also that Shasta, our mascot, borrowed the sign for a lap around the field.
This is a logo I created for a local contractor, Circle Five R. Playing off the companies name I made the tree trunk our of an 'r.'
This is a package redesign I did of the classic movie candy, Junior Mints. Rather than update the graphics with a modern design, I chose to celebrate the candy's proud history with a vintage inspired design.
Replicating the original dieline, I redesigned the Junior Mint packaging. The current packaging reads as very outdated and is lost on the shelf. My goal was to embrace the candy's history with a vintage feel and to give the box more personality to help it pop off the shelf.
Taking the original dieline, I redesigned the box's artwork. The current Junior Mint's box is outdated, and the plain white box blends in with the shelf. Because the company is so proud of their history, my goal was to update the box without modernizing it. The end product is a vintage inspired design sure to jump off the shelf.
This is a wedding invitation I helped create for a client that wanted a little more interactivity than usual. I designed the outer sleeve which has has a foil lined window that frames the couple's monogram and a French tulip graphic.
This lazor diecut sleeve I created for a party invitation for an event planning company's party. The geometric window is to frame the company's logo.
This is a rather unusual piece. An event planner was organizing a circus themed party and brought me a request to dress up milk bottles that would be handed out later in the evening. I illustrated a carousel horse and generated a lazor dieline. Taking the débutante's monogram, provided by the event planner, I also created a custom belly band to go around the bottle.
I created this redesigned package for Mrs. Baird's Lemon Pies. I wanted to give the package a fresher, more updated feel without loosing its identity. I maintained the brand's logo, original colors, and the signature zig zags, but update the package's graphics.
This is an original bottle design I created for a fictitious tea company, Bluebonnet. Using Esko software I created a unique bottle shape and label. My goal with the design was to create clean and simple, but still interesting graphics.
This is an original sleeve design I created for a fictitious coffee company, Altura. Using Esko software I created a unique bottle shape and label. With the software I then determined the dimensions for a shrink wrap sleeve that would be used to package six of the bottled together. Utilizing the same branding I created on the individual bottle, I applied graphics to the sleeve.

This photo is an exercise in composition, emphasizing the rule of thirds.
This image is from a series documenting the architectural design process. By keeping the study model in focus and the architect out of focus, I emphasized the model as the subject rather than its creator.
I utilized HDR, to give this piece a wide tonal range. Additional effects were applied
to give it a stylistic grunge.
My goal was to communicate the focus a pool player has during that breaking shot. I took this shot with a limited depth of field, keeping the foreground in focus and
the background out of focus.
For this photo I experimented with perspective's effect on continuing lines.
Focusing on tensional composition, I captured this image to show things from a different
perspective.
To take my photo of the Houston skyline to the next level, I increased the image's radial glow to add drama to the image.
Floral photography has been done to death; I challenged myself to capture a floral subject in a composition that was interesting enough to stand out. I believe I was able to accomplish my goal here.
