In this project, I've created a sales letter for National Geographic by importing a Word Document into Adobe InDesign. I edited the document by adjusting the character and paragraph styles. I've printed this on 11 x 17 paper as well as 8.5 x 11 using marks and bleeds.

In this project, I've created a variable data sales letter for National Geographic using Adobe InDesign and XMPie. Using XMPie, I've added variable data of the recipients of the letter, their address, as well as a QR code that lads to a website. I've learned that if you want to bleed, you can't print on the same size paper.

In this project, I've created a coupon for a fictitious bakery in Adobe InDesign. Using XMPie, I've added variable data that determine which picture is on the coupon based on the recipient's purchase history. The variable data also determined how much percentage off they would get off as well as what baked goods they would get free. I've also added a QR code as well as a variable data recipient's name and address.

For this project, I've created an 8 page booklet in Adobe InDesign. This booklet consist of vector images, a continuous tone scanned image, a couple of line arts, as well as digital art from the Internet. Using a preflight profile, I made sure that all elements used in this booklet are within the guidelines of the assignment. I then imposed the booklet using Kodak PREPs, creating an 8 page signature. I then printed, folded, stitched, and trimmed the booklet.
