These are shots that I experimented with Long Exposures. I shot each photos on manual setting to get a better control of the outcome. The settings includes a low ISO to reduce the noise, a small aperture to get the a greater depth of field, and a long shutter speed to capture more light. This was the base for all the shots because each shots has their own optimal setting. I used the self timer on the camera for these shots because touching the camera at anytime during the process would cause the photo to come out blurry. Keeping the camera perfectly still was key, so I used a really steady tripod. After taking the shots, I imported them into Adobe Lightroom and sorted/rated my photos as well as adding metadata to each shots. I then did photo manipulation in Lightroom and Photoshop.

JAPANESE FESTIVAL - 2014
This was part of my final project for my photography class. The assignment was to tell a story, and my story was about my day at the Japanese Festival. Most of the shots consists of event goers and the scenery at Hermann Park. I chose to photograph people in vibrant color costume to contrast with the greenery of the park. After taking the shots, I imported them into Adobe Lightroom and sorted/rated my photos as well as adding metadata to each shots. I then did photo manipulation in Lightroom and Photoshop.

PROJECT RED
This was one of my assignment in my photography class. I needed to take pictures of colors, and I decided I wanted to do red because of my school. I used a variety of composition rules like the rule of thirds, depth of field, and symmetry. Most of the photos were shot at the UH Sugar Land campus. I added the metadata in Lightroom and did photo manipulation in Photoshop.
