Principles and techniques of cost estimation for digital media production. This course provides the student with the opportunity to learn how to determine which materials and manufacturing processes are required to produce jobs of printing and calculate the costs for those materials and processes. We were asked to create a mock company, plan the workflow of the Digital Media business, choose a facility and design a workspace to accommodate that workflow, plan the workspace’s personnel and equipment, cost out the entire project, establish budgeted hour rates, and benchmark production data.
