In my project dot gain measurement, I was able to see what dot gain does to an image. I was able to get the exact percentage of dot gain by measuring the output of the printing machine with a densitometer. After this we corrected the output of an image to 27% dot gain and saw the difference between both 0% and 27% dot gain on the image.
