No time to work out? No excuses! It would be amazing if we had time to go to The Good Space and get in a great workout every day. Today our lives are so busy and hectic we rarely have time to do Yoga and Pilates every day, but of course we also want to stay fit and healthy. Just because you are stuck at your desk everyday does not mean that you can’t fit in some sneaky ways to exercise on the go.

Stairs!

For example, ALWAYS take the stairs. No exceptions! Taking the stairs any chance you get will help you burn more calories without even thinking about it.

Get Up and Move

Have a new co-worker or a friend down the hall? Walk over and catch up with them instead of sending a text or an email from your desk.

Standing for Improved Blood Flow

If you are always sitting at your desk try standing instead. Standing burns more calories and helps your blood flow better to keep you energized. If you do have to sit, make sure you don’t slouch or try sitting on an exercise ball instead of a chair. Sitting on an exercise ball uses different muscles to stay balanced.

Easy Weights with Office Supplies

There are also a lot of things you can use as free weights that you probably wouldn’t even think of. The cute stapler you bought to decorate your desk with works perfectly for bicep curls!

Mini workouts are perfect for helping us stick to our schedules while also fitting some mini workouts and keep us moving in our busy schedules.
