DIGM 3370 - 2D Animation Two dimensional (2D) computer-generated imagery (CGI), including drawing, coloring, and animating objects and characters; phonemes for characters dialog; and object-oriented programming. This course is designed to familiarize students with the animation process. Students will learn how to draw, color, manipulate, and animate –first primitive- then more complex shapes and characters in a timeline. Students will learn to work with sounds in the timeline with animated graphics, and export the projects in self-contained files. The course is not intended to produce professional animators. Rather, students completing the class will have a foundational understanding of, and practical experience in creating two-dimensional animated graphics that can be used in multimedia and transmedia applications.
